Shortcut to the TICA Trends & Trade Import Template
As an exhibitor, you can also periodically import products into Beeyond yourself. It is also possible to update existing products using this method.
To import data, an FTP account is required. You will have received the account details when your account was activated or after a server update. If the login details are unknown, please contact data@tica.nl to request them.
The automatic import takes place daily, every two hours between 8:00 and 22:00.
When importing products via FTP, you should take the following points into account:
You will need an FTP client (such as FileZilla) to upload the import template to the FTP server.
The host/server name for the FTP connection is: ftp-pwmarkets.beeyond.nl
The username is your exhibitor number with TT_ as a prefix — for example: TT_1234.
The password is provided to you and cannot be changed by yourself.
The product file must have the following name: TT_<exhibitor number>_artikel.xlsx — for example: TT_1234_artikel.xlsx.
If you upload your file before 21:00, it will be processed that same evening and will be available in Beeyond and the cash register the next day.
Always use the latest import template (available at: Import template TICA).
Exhibitor number instead of name.
Product group code instead of product group description — and only use active product group codes.
Description: maximum of 35 characters and only allowed characters.
Country of origin: use the ISO code instead of the name.
Weight in grams, not kilograms.
When cutting/copying and pasting data, use ‘paste values’ to preserve cell properties.
Imports are processed based on your article number or barcode.
Beeyond checks whether a product needs to be created or updated based on the chosen unique field.
This field must always be unique.
The choice between “your article number” and “barcode” must be made in advance and indicated when requesting FTP access.
By default, “barcode” is used if additional information is available.
The import report is emailed to one or more pre-specified email addresses.
By default, an email is sent if:
A file has been placed on the FTP server.
Errors occurred during the import.
In other cases, no email is sent.
Tip: Use mailbox rules to automatically move these reports to a dedicated folder so you can quickly find the latest import report after uploading a file.
If there are errors, the import report will also contain a file (failure…..xlsx) with the products that could not be imported.
You must re-import these using the import template (with corrections) or enter them manually in Beeyond.
Note: Although this failure file has an .xlsx extension, it is actually a .csv file.
A maximum of 10,000 products can be processed per import.
If you want to import more products, split the file into two or more files, each with a maximum of 10,000 products.
